Is your living room cool, but your bedroom warm? If one or more of your rooms aren’t receiving the same level of cooling comfort as others, then you most likely have an issue. It could be due to poor insulation, windows that need caulk or something else. You may need a new air conditioner altogether. Now, we aren’t going to sell you something that you don’t need, but we will advise you if you do need to upgrade from your current system.
There is often a misconception that refrigerant runs out just like gasoline in a vehicle would. That’s simply not true. Your air conditioner is stocked with enough refrigerant ideally to last for the lifespan of the unit. If you are losing refrigerant, then that means that you must have a leak. Our solution to this problem is to get to the root of the issue and repair the leak.
